When posting to the RP, do we need to take turns in the order of who got in there when, or can we post again once someone else has gone? (assuming there's not a need to wait on someone's key move or something) ...I would assume there's no double posting (going again without someone else going next, it'd make more sense to edit one's post if that were absolutely necessary), but if I'm wrong do correct me! In other words, I've been in RPs where if there are two people in a thread, they take turns. If there's three, then they have to go in the order of who posted first, and everybody has to have a turn every round ( Landel's Institute is like this). Are we doing it that way or is it just "whoever wants to go next"?

It'd probably be easier to do it in a certain order, just to make sure everyone gets a turn and prevent any confusion- though I guess someone could pass on their turn, if they had nothing to say.

Right, no double posting. XD
It's pretty much impossible to take turns. If it were a small cast, say, two to three people, then of course! But it's expected that this is a larger cast, and it will be almost impossible to take turns. Basically- There's about 8, 9 members. If we went from the first person all the way to the last, then if someone thinks they need to say something, or, if two characters are having a "moment," it'll be too wide spread and screw everything up. >.<; Besides, we currently have an issue with some people being grounded. So that means we'd have to wait till they get on.
Most forum RPs are rarely taking turns, as I have seen on Gaia and ASN (Which is a site about four of our members RP on- Including myself because they made me. >.<). It's always first come, first serve. If you happen to fall behind, read a little, and if you think you'll be interrupting anything, wait till you can come in.
That's pretty much it. ^^; Forum rping is gritty but it can be fun.

Okidoki! Heh, I've seen Landel's threads with around 10 people before. It's hell. ^^; And it's usually during a fight... which gets totally thread-of-d00m, with the villain critter/person being one of the posters and thus has to wait for allll those people to post too before it can update what the heck it's done with 9 people going after it (tho usually some stand back half to see if they're needed and half to keep things from total chaos). Usually it's not *quite* that bad... I've seen non-fight threads like that too though; it usually doesn't take long for at least a few of the people to go "GUH we're moving down the hall and starting our own thread!" or the like. xD
Anyways, wheeee! Right, I was punting Shase in... *cue evil laughter*
Shase: -.-
^^;
